Annual General Meeting 2018

Date: 16 September 2018 11:00:00
Details:
The Annual General Meeting is an event which is looked forward to by many PMAV members.  This year the AGM is to be held at the Beaufort Town Hall in Western Victoria.
Beaufort is a town with a population of 1539 and a history of goldmining. As it is an election year, this year instead of a guest speaker we are organising a candidate debate between various candidates and MPs.

While the debate will be largely based on the Ripon electorate the answers should apply statewide.  Ripon has a huge number of prospectors residing in it and the vote from prospectors is enough for any politician or prospective politician to sit up and take notice.  The Ripon electorate runs from Horsham in the West to North Ballarat in the South and covers Maryborough, Dunolly, Beaufort, Creswick and Wedderburn.

This year’s Auction will have some surprises in it.  We have gone all out to obtain some interesting auction items which will be revealed closer to the event.  Of course, we will still have the perennially popular prospecting equipment up for auction too.  So, come along and bag a bargain.

We hope to see a large crowd of PMAV members at this event to show the Victorian Government that we are fighting for our rights in regional areas.
